New Delhi: Parth Bharat Thakkar, a well-known Gujarati music director and singer, has recently unveiled three new tracks: “O Nandlala,” “Aabh Ma Jhini Jabuke,” and “Algari Aankhon,” garnering massive praise from Indian and overseas audiences. The three tracks have raked up nearly 90,000 combined views on YouTube since their release last week.

Parth thanked his viewers and audience during an interview with ETimes, saying, “I create music that comes naturally to me. I don’t run behind the trends. I try to create my trend. Since I believe in originality”.

He also opted to share exclusive insights about his motivations behind the newly released tracks, saying it was the love and appreciation from his listeners that enabled him to complete the projects. Thakkar added, “I am extremely happy to have received immense love for ‘O Nandlala’ wherein I collaborated with an amazing folk singer, Shri Vipul Barot. My kids Shubh and Shaurya were featured in the song for the first time, and the song also got featured at Times Square in New York. All of the rarest things that happened organically with this song made me feel special and blessed.”

Talking about his second track, “Aabh Ma Jhini Jabuke,” he said, “It was yet another favorite to work on with the incredible Kirtidan Gadhvi and Priya Saraiya. The love is immense from the listeners, and it’s so encouraging to create more and more independent music.”

For the last track, Thakkar added, “Adding another track, ‘Algari Aankhon’, yet another love song wherein I collaborated with my wife and lyricist Jui Parth and had Aamir Mir to sing it. I love the way Akash Pandya has performed in the video.”

Born on July 9, 1989, in Ahmedabad, Gujrat, Parth completed his schooling at St. Xavier’s School, Mirzapur, and St. Kabir School, Ahmedabad, and then went on to get his bachelor’s degree in performing arts from JG College of Performing Arts, Ahmedabad. His inclination towards classical Gujrati music shined through at a tender age, leading him to choose music as an occupation. In 2011, he married Jui Dandwala, a clinical psychologist and a music psychology graduate, and currently resides at their paternal residence in Ahmedabad.

Thakkar’s first domestic success came at the age of 20 after he composed a music album called “Majja Ni Life” for RJ Dhvanit from Radio Mirchi. Following initial success, Thakkar turned his attention towards music direction for Gujrati-language films and delivered his first film, “Gujjubhai the Great” (2015).
