Performance: This was to be an action-packed semi-final episode of the Superstar Singer Season 3 and it truly lived up to its billing, being power-packed with some exceptionally vigorous power zone performances, making a fair smattering of mind-boggling high-octane action moments, and an array of unforgettable surprises.
And speaking of all this, one point couldn’t remain unsaid in an already full episode—the one associated with the special guest on stage, legendary music composer Viju Shah. Though added an extra dimension of exhilaration and grandeur to the show, most specifically, Khushi’s breathtaking performance of the song “Chal Tere Ishq Mein” from the film Gadar 2.
Viju Shah has been a maestro in the universe of music composition and has done music composition for many of the unforgettable blockbuster Bollywood movies. That noted melody was what the soundtracks were based on in many of those household-name movies. More notable is the skill and flair that has thus enshrined him there, in hallowed ground, amongst the really greats in that industry. He was there on the grounds of Superstar Singer S3, and there was a chill in every contestant and the viewers witnessing the legends.
The semifinal episode was full of comments by the judges as well as appreciation from the audience. Of course, one of the best performances at that time was presented by Khushi.
